    Welcome Back!

Picture day is Wednesday, September 13th, 2023. You will be able to go to Parsons Photography to order your child's pictures online.

We hope you are enjoying your summer break and are eagerly anticipating the start of the new school year! We are excited to welcome our incoming 6th graders and welcome back all returning students to an enriching and rewarding 2023-2024 school year at Okanogan Middle School.

We are delighted to invite all 6th graders and their families to our special orientation event on August 24th from 6 pm to 8 pm. This is a fantastic opportunity to pick up your student schedules, get locker assignments, and even practice opening lockers before the first day of school. Our dedicated teachers will be present to meet and greet students and their families, fostering a warm and supportive environment from day one. Additionally, I will be there to go over the student handbook and address any questions or concerns you may have.

Mark your calendars! The first day of school for the 2023-2024 academic year is on August 29th. We can't wait to see all our students bright and early at 8 am, ready for a day of learning and making new friends and reuniting with old friends. On September 12th we will have a back-to-school bbq from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm and give you an opportunity to meet your students' teachers. We eagerly look forward to collaborating with you in nurturing your child's educational journey.

To ensure a smooth transition back to school, our middle school office will open its doors from August 15th, operating from 7:30 am to 3:30 pm. Whether you have questions, need assistance, or wish to purchase a PE uniform or computer insurance, feel free to drop by or give us a call. Our friendly staff will be more than happy to assist you.

As we embark on this new academic journey, we are confident that the 2023-2024 school year will be filled with endless opportunities for learning, fostering friendships, and experiencing exciting activities. We are committed to creating a positive and nurturing environment that promotes academic excellence, personal growth, and student success.

Students will need to purchase a PE uniform in the middle school office for $20. They can use the uniform they purchased last year or use a siblings PE uniform if you have one as they are exactly the same. Students will need PE shoes as well.

ASB Cards are $30 and will need to be purchased if your child is participating in a sport this year.

Yearbooks can also be purchased in the office for $25.00. We encourage you to purchase your yearbook early to ensure you get one before they run out!

If you have questions or concerns, the secretary and/or building principal is more than happy to assist you.  Please do not hesitate to call!
