DRAFTING – In this class students will learn the use of the basic tools of drafting including T square, triangles, English & metric measuring rules, compass, protractor, etc. to produce precision drawings. Mechanical and architectural drawings will be produced, including flat and 3-D perspectives. Individual scale models will also be constructed of a shed with a door and window, a deck with stairs and a house will be built in small groups.
This course can count as a math or occupational ed. credit. A prerequisite of one year of high school math is required. |
