Okanogan School District

Jeremy Clark has been selected to be recommended to the school board for approval as Virginia Grainger Elementary School Principal. Mr. Clark successfully taught elementary level students at Medical Lake School District for nine years, and carried out assistant elementary principal duties in Medical Lake School District for two years. For the last six years he has carried out duties as elementary principal to 500 students in Tonasket School District, with emphasis, during the last two years, in instructional leadership. Mr. Clark also served as Tonasket School District’s Federal Programs Director for Migrant/Bilingual program, the state’s Highly Capable program and the district’s Building Assessment Coordinator. Mr. Clark is trained in TPEP (instructional evaluation), PBIS (student behavior), GLAD (guided language acquisition by design) RTI (response to intervention) and PLC (professional learning communities).

Mr. Clark graduated from Methow School District before attending Eastern Washington University at Cheney, Washington, where he earned a Bachelor of Arts in Natural Science Education with a minor in K-8 Reading, a Masters in Educational Leadership with his thesis entitled “Peer Academic Learning Support as Positive Behavior Support Intervention”, Principal Credential, and Certificates in Professional Teacher and Professional Administrator. As a side note, Mr. Clark worked as a contractor in construction to put himself through his first four years of college.

Mr. Jeremy Clark is married to Jennifer, who teaches at the elementary school level. Together they have two children - a daughter who is a senior and a son who is a freshman, both at Tonasket High School.

Mr. Clark is scheduled to begin his new assignment in August. Even though Jeremy, Jennifer and their children are not new to the area, if you see them, please give them the Okanogan Bulldog greeting! I know they would appreciate it. Go Dawgs!

  • Thank you for Supporting Okanogan School District

The Okanogan School District’s Technology Replacement Levy is passing at 59.41% (passage requires 50% plus 1).  Passage of this levy allows the district to purchase the hardware, software and technical support teachers rely upon as an important tool to teach, and students rely upon to prepare themselves for post high school and the world of work.  Your vote makes a difference!
