I am glad to have classroom volunteers. At the beginning of the school year I will send home a Classroom Volunteer Sign-Up Letter. There are many opportunities to volunteer as little or as much as you would like to. Your help is always appreciated.

Regular Classroom Helper:

You can come each week at a regular time to help out in the classroom. You will be asked to do a variety of activities. Some jobs you might be asked to do is cut out items, die-cut letters, laminate items, sort papers, collate/staple papers, hang up or take down items, work with students, etc.

Part-time Helper:

You can come in once in awhile for special projects, class parties, field trips, etc.

At Home Helper:

If you are unable to come into the classroom to volunteer due to your schedule or other responsibilities, but would still like to help in some way, you can do various projects at home such as cut out items, trace items, sort papers, collate/staple papers, or help with some craft projects.

Room Mother/Father:

You would be willing to help organize our classroom parties for Halloween, Christmas, and Valentine’s Day. This involves organizing the parties and contacting parents to supply items.

Field Trip Chaperones:

On field trips, we will need chaperones. As these trips come up, I will contact you about your availability to help.
